Meet Vilnius University Culture Centre
Vilnius University Centre of Culture unites 12 art groups: choirs, orchestras, theaters, ensembles. The main aim of the Centre is to create and maintain its cultural educational spread and provide the opportunity of artistic self-expression and development of a creative personality for university community.🎭 The Centre organises concerts, plays and other events for students, employees, the society. The groups of the Centre take part in Lithuanian and foreign song celebrations, international festivals, where they often become laureates, winning prizes and diplomas and in that way resounding the Vilnius University’s name all over the world. Significant attention is put to educational work. The Centre provides lists of students, whose artistical competences acquired during the studying period can be inscribed in the diploma and gives out certificates, noting the artistical activity of the graduate during the studentship.
Vilnius University Health and Sport Centre
Vilnius University Health and Sport Centre is responsible for sports and healthy lifestyle at the University. The Centre offers various health and sports events as well as fitness and sports halls for the University community. In addition, high-profile sports teams are training here and competitions, as well as various tournaments between faculty students and staff, are organised.
